Eight days after I was invited to Papua New Guinea two women drove from Riverside, California to come see me at the YWAM LA base, although they did not know who I was or who they were coming here for.
All they knew was that about two weeks prior to coming, God told one of them (Susan) that someone (me) on base had a heart for PNG and that the woman who drove (Sharon) did not feel settled in her heart until they finally came.
The two women arrived on Friday the 21st at around 5 in the evening. I went to bed incredibly upset that night and was questioning God about everything, including going to PNG. The next morning on Saturday I woke up right at brunch time, rolled out of bed and went straight to eat.
Because of my rough night, I didn’t feel like sitting where I normally did, and ate inside the cafeteria. Until, my friend (Taylor) came up to me and said, “There are two women outside from PNG who are here to talk to you.” … I told her that if she was lying to me I was going to be really mad, and walked outside to the same spot I sat in when I was invited to PNG eight days prior.
My mind can’t handle all this. I sat down and one of them said to ask a question so I said, “What are you doing here?” She responded and said, “We came here to visit you.”

Let me introduce you to Sharon and Susan. Sharon is the one on the left, the girl in the blue hair is the angel who was kind enough to introduce herself to them and bring me over, and Susan is the one on the right. Susan is from PNG and has been involved in ministry with YWAM for ten years. Her cousin and Sharon’s son did a DTS together in Kona, Hawaii, and that is how they met and why Susan was in Riverside visiting. Susan connected me with a woman who can potentially connect me to the right people in order to be involved in their human trafficking ministry out there.
Then they took me and my friend to the hose and washed and anointed our feet to be sent out as missionaries
Months before I knew I was going to Thailand, God told me that I would fall in love with the Thai kids.
On the same day that I was invited onto the ship, He told me was that I am going to fall in love with the Papua kids just like I will fall in love with the Thai kids.
He said, “They are the Papua kids because I am their Papa.”
That Monday, two girls (from Canada and Switzerland) traveling the world decided to come to LA for two weeks. These two girls had gone to PNG on their outreach a couple years prior and told me really cool stories about their time there and the culture. One told me, with tears in her eyes, that when the children of PNG pray to God they call Him, Papa.
